Gambella Medical Team Connection (GmTc)
GmTc is a 501(c)(3) Charitable organization registered in the State of Minnesota. It is an organization aim to provide health screening test for Ethiopian immigrant and refugee living in Minnesota. It will serve rural communities in the Gambella Region of Ethiopia.
Minnesota is a home for more than 40,000 thousand immigrants from Africa and most of those people came to Minnesota from 1991 to present day. Some of them have languages barriers, developed and experience uncertainty diseases.
Ethiopia is one of the poorest countries in Africa. Located on the horn of Africa and is the second largest populated country to Nigeria. At the end of 2013, Ethiopia end up with population of 94,100,756; this represents an increase of 2,371,907 people compared to 2012.

Ethiopia is a country divided into nine regional states. Among the nine regions, Gambella is one of the poorest and most marginalized regional state located in the western part of Ethiopia about 770km from Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopian.

More than half million school children do not have ready access to nutritious food according to the Department of education. A child cannot concentrate and learn on an empty stomach and good nutrition plays a vital part in a good education.
